GLYcoDiag Light on : Evaluation of antimicrobial activities of system preservatives.

Are you working on a new preservative system ? A preservative booster ? You want to identify a synergistic effect ?

One of the current goal in the cosmetics market is to use only the necessary and sufficient concentrations of system preservatives in cosmetics products due to them decrease of favour with consumers.

To reach this goal, GLYcoDiag proposes a miniaturized method called “micro-challenge test” devoted to the evaluation of the preservative effect of ingredients or formulas in order to design/validate new systems preservatives, boosters or other complementary or synergy effects of natural substances. Compared to the standard method, the GLYcoDiag’s micro-challenge test is a high throughput, cost effective and the method of choice for research projects aiming at the development of new system preservatives or the control steps of anti-microbial efficacy where the regulatory method (ISO 11930) is not absolutely required. This miniaturized method requires only a small amount of product (30 g of samples for an analysis in triplicate) and can screen up to 100 samples simultaneously.

Our next and last series in 2024 will be launched in week 47 (reception of the product until 18/11/24) to ensure that you receive the results before Christmas.
