Dicarboximide-based poly(oxanorbornenyl azlactone) and poly(norbornenyl azlactone) were made by ROMP and modified with amino-heptyl mannose to form glycopolymers. The oxygen-containing polymer showed better solubility and stronger nanomolar inhibition of five lectins, especially at lower polymer length. This polymer is a promising, water-soluble glycomaterial with precise structure. Polym. Chem. 2025, 00, 1-9. DOI: 10.1039/d5py00342c
