Founded in 2005, GLYcoDiag is a biotechnology company specialized in glycosciences and microbiota research. We provide innovative products and analytical services dedicated to the study of complex carbohydrates and the understanding of glycobiological interaction mechanisms.
Our expertise supports industrial R&D across biotechnology, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, agricultural, and food sectors. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Project Manager in GlycoSciences / Head of R&D to strengthen our scientific team.
Your Role
Reporting directly to the company’s Director, you will play a key role in leading and developing GLYcoDiag’s research and service activities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Driving the development of glycoanalytical reagents and glycobiological assays from a technical, scientific, and strategic perspective.
- Managing and executing both client-based and internal R&D projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and scientific excellence.
- Designing and conducting experimental studies, analyzing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings.
- Overseeing laboratory operations, including procurement, maintenance, and compliance.
- Contributing to our quality management system by writing and implementing operational procedures.
- Enhancing and sharing scientific knowledge within the team, ensuring continuous expertise development.
- Conducting literature reviews to identify innovative approaches and supporting the company’s scientific communication.
- Building and maintaining strong collaborations with clients and partners, representing GLYcoDiag at scientific meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
About You
You hold a PhD in biochemistry or chemistry, ideally complemented by engineering training and a specialization in glycobiology. Postdoctoral experience in academia or industry—particularly within cosmetics, pharma, or biotech—would be a strong advantage.
