He obtained his Master’s degree in 2024 from the University of Naples, with a specialized background in glycobiology, in particular on carbohydrate-mediated interactions.
He is currently a PhD student within the AUREUS network, funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) programme. His research focuses on wall teichoic acids (WTAs) interactions with glycan-binding proteins and pattern recognition receptors (PRRs), aiming to elucidate glycan-mediated molecular recognition mechanisms. His work is carried out in an interdisciplinary and international research environment, contributing to advances in glycoscience, molecular recognition, and related biomedical and biotechnological applications.
